Best Profile tags: The review

by lyndlj @ 2007-02-17 - 23:16:00

The next reviews are for the category of best Profile tags, now do I review the tags or the person/blog?
I will just do the person blog and see if we can find where some of these tags came from ;)

We start with our beloved reporter of renown

Juzzzy

In reviewing this particular Blog/Blogger, I feel a little like I am being tested by the headmaster! Just kidding

If you judge a person by their profile tags then you are in for a shock when you actually read the blog, I always read the blog and then look at the profile tags to see if I can figure where they came up with them.

This blog is a mixture of fun, reports, serious stuff and some pretty intriguing autobiographical stories. I particularly like the Thai ones, but I find all autobiographies interesting.

His word of the day is renowned all over blogland, though there have been some others that have done a similar type of thing (I wont say copied ;) ) Juzzy’s is the one that most read and laugh at, perhaps this is because of the little scenario played out below it, usually involving a buzzard of ill repute.

This person doesn’t always let us know what he feels, and when he does, it is usually just for friends. Every so often he will disappear for a day or so, usually on some binge, sometimes because of a woman. According to his profile tags anyway;)

For those that may not have already had the pleasure of doing so, go read, sometimes you find the nicest things in the strangest places.

Next on the list

FlickFlack

What can I say? Apart from what’s a Wombat Worrier?

Sometimes very short posts, though funny, music, laughter, and love, all you need in life really.

A lovely lady with a great sense of humour, words of wisdom and a lovely and very talented family. Talented herself as a Gymnastics coach, and by the sounds of it a very full schedule, when she is not curled up on the sofa with a book and some chocolate.

Partial to chocolate cake too though she will share if she has to, I have to admit that I love reading about the medals won by her children, and the things they get up to, like any children they have their moments (kicking the back of mams seat in the car while she is on the phone) and she writes of them in a good humoured way even when they have been driving her to distraction.

Another must read blog, what are you waiting for?

Number three

Nathan1

This blogger hasn’t been with us very long, but the fact that he is here in the top five nominees shows how quickly he has won the friendship of many bloggers.

From his first post to his latest we see that he is gifted with a sense of humour that is often levelled at himself, this shows in the cartoon Nate that he draws and entertains us with.

The nutty ideas he comes up with, that sometimes actually works! Like the cards at the party, which worked after a fashion, if you don’t already know what I am talking about then you really need to read.

Though I am puzzling over the tag juniper berry bush, might have to investigate that one further;)

Number four

Subville

Some of the tags on this blog made me laugh and some made me wonder, just what she has been getting up to, Fireman sites? Underwater bus driving?

What I like about this one is the way that the lady is not afraid to show all sides of herself, even though half the time she will apologise for what she says or is feeling, and what she is writing.

Music and laughter, two great gifts, which she shares with us, as well as the rest of the things happening in her day-to-day survival of the things that life throws at her. And her little man, I love reading about peoples children, the way they talk/write about them shows you a lot more about a person than they realise.

Well worth a read go on, you know you want to!

And last but by no means least

CJ592

CJ has several blogs, and mostly his tags are ‘nice’ shall we say, though I am sure that his OH would be most interested in the fact that they modelled doctor who on him, doesn’t that make him worth a lot of money?

The Inquisitor blogs are a lot of fun, and educational in some ways too, well for me they are, I didn’t realise I knew so many things!

His blogs are funny, moving, informative, nonsensical, witty and thoughtful. Again the way a person tells things shows who they are, the way he speaks of his work and his OH, shows the character of the person.

Story blog, personal blog, film reviews and so on and so on, don’t be lazy look for yourself! ;)
