Well girls and boys the votes are coming in fast, which is great.

Everyone has at least one vote in each category with others gaining an early lead; a couple battling out some categories and then a few where the leader is miles ahead.

I could, if you wish, tell you who is leading so far… but I won’t!

From all the nominations it was great to see such diverse blogs. It was nice see names I didn’t know and people not on my friends list. As great as it was it made the job of tallying the votes harder but only in so much as it meant I had more bits of paper everywhere and more names to remember

So keep voting people. Remember you can still vote for Moira’s award as well… don’t forget that one!

The announcements have been made and the time for the voting is upon us. Add to that the very generous offer from Blog.co to award Pro accounts to winners and it looks like this is going to be the best of Bloscars.

As you know I have been doing reviews on different blogs and their owners, now nominations have been announced I am going to do it somewhat differently.

Each post will be one category, and I will review all the nominees in that category, for those that have been nominated for several things they will be reviewed only once, and a referal to the first review will be done. This is in keeping with the unbiased reviewing that I have tried to maintain throughout the nominations.

However before I begin I have something to say, which may please some and may very much displease others, so be it, you know where my mailbox and my blog is!
Last year when Paddy devised this brilliant idea, and spent weeks on end running it and making it fun for everyone, there were some very bitter, nasty, small minded people, that hounded him and constantly attacked him to the degree that he left Blog.co, this was apparently because they were not nominated or did not win.

This competition was then and is now open to All Members of Blog.co, if you are not in the nominations it is NOT Because you are not on certain peoples friends list, and it is NOT because is fixed by anyone. Everyone had an opportunity to nominate, as everyone will have an opportunity to vote.
As far as I am concerned this is a great site, and most of the peoples blogs I have come across even those not on my list have been entertaining in some way or another, this is the opportunity to show that it is a great site and a lot of fun.

Because thats ALL this is, a bit of fun. And I am sure you will want to join me in Thanking Paddy for coming back to Blog.co, for once again taking the time out of his busy schedule to do this for us, to try and bring people together and get them reading other blogs and meeting other people.
