Well it’s finally here… sort of…

Below is the full list of categories and a short description about each one. A blog entry will follow with how and when you can nominate and then how and when you can vote. At least this list will give you a starting place.

First off, the removals. “Menu Of the Day” has gone. Purely because there will only ever be one winner of this award. Another award that has been removed is the “Lifetime Achievement Award”. It is to be replaced by another award that is still in the planning. Lyndz, the previous winner, has been told of this and is helping with the planning of the new award.

So on with the awards… Under each award you see either Blog, Blogger or Blog Entry. This is to let you know whether you’re voting for a blog or a blogger or… wait for it… a blog entry! I know it might seem as though it’s obvious but after last year I’m not taking the risk. (The names in italics next to the award is the 2006 Winner… in case you didn’t work that out!)

Best Profile Picture (Helly100)
Every blogger is allowed up to five profile picture with a chosen one being displayed by their name. Is there one you find funny or interesting, maybe you’re even attracted to a blogger because of their profile picture. Choose your favourite for this award.

Most Helpful Blog (Paddy)
There are a few blogs out there that help people. Either with projects, with HTML or even with blogging. Which one, if any, have you found helpful?

Most Helpful Blogger (GreamaPhillipsUK)
This is different to Most Helpful Blog. This award goes to the person you find most helpful, not the blog. Bloggers can comment on other peoples blogs, some are co-authors to blogs other than their own, who do you think is the most helpful blogger?

Most Artistic Blog (DeanChristopher)
Some blogs are there just to show off art. Art in pictures and in words. Which, in your opinion, is the most artistic?

Best Blog Design (Paddy)
There are some excellent blog designs out there. CJ with all his images in the heard, Andy with his Matrix background and fantastic graphics, Lyndz with her mythical pictures and the marvellous landscapes and even Juzzzy’s is worth note (to my horror!) for being simple and to the point, no big showy pictures (like mine!), just a nice flowing easy to read design (bastard!). Enough of my faves though… who is your favourite?
